TGI Becomes a Constituent Company of the FTSE4Good TIP Taiwan ESG Index
2019-04-16 (Tue.) TWSE, TIP, FTSE Russell and Yuanta Securities Investment Trust Co., Ltd. held the seminar “Sustainable Development Trends, Re-creating New Benefits”and the presentation ceremony “Logo for a constituent company in the
FTSE4Good TIP Taiwan ESG Index” to promote the sustainable development of
enterprises, and improve the visibility of constituent companies in the FTSE4Good TIP Taiwan ESG Index.
*Note: the “FTSE4Good TIP Taiwan ESG Index” was introduced in December 2017
by TIP and FTSE Russell. It is the first investment index included ESG
(Environment, Social, and Governance) in Taiwan. This index is for a qualified stock of Taiwan listed companies which is a constituent company in the FTSE4Good
Emerging Index. A constituent company is screened through compilation rules and constituent condition of FTSE4Good TIP Taiwan ESG Index. Regular assessment
and review are implemented in June and December of every year to re-screen a
constituent company for improving investment performance of the index. This index has been approved by Bureau of Labor Funds as a NTD 4.2 million discretionary
investment target.
